First Snow of the Year First Day of the Year!

Got 1" to 2" of snow on the same day my military foster dog came back to me!

Big storm last night took out my large zinnia plant. At least I was able to "rescue" it by turning it into a floral arrangement!

At least my storm damage had a pleasant end result, unlike these poor people in Lamesa...

Winter Storm Uri

So... this was insane! The winter storm that knocked out power to 14 million Texans (ERCOT failure) for days on end. We never lost power fortunately. Lubbock is not on ERCOT (yet!), although we're being moved onto it this summer. 

Not much snow, but it didn't get above freezing for 5 days and was in the single digits most of the time.
